Wario's employees ponder where the game bugs originated, and Wario reveals that he was indirectly responsible for the bugs due to his bad programming. The group escapes through the portal and makes it back home, much to their relief.
Grateful for the group's efforts, the Supreme Developer opens a portal back to Diamond City and invites to come back any time. Shortly after, the group meets the Supreme Developer, a godlike spirit with Wario's facial features, who reveals that he was the one who brought them inside the game to eliminate the game bugs. The group manages to win against it, and Wario decides to spare the game bug as it unwittingly improved his level. Suddenly, a large, sinister-looking game bug jumps into level and distorts the opening cutscene, transforming into the Wario Bug. Upon their arrival, however, the group finds that it is more corrupted than previous levels. They ride a second minecart into the final level of the game, which Wario made himself. The group reunites with more of their friends, including Kat and Ana, Jimmy T, Ashley, and Orbulon, and complete their levels as well whilst removing their game bugs. They ride the minecart further into the game and complete a level containing microgames from the previous stages. Afterwards, the group discovers a minecart, where they reunite with Dr. Crygor, Dribble and Spitz the crew successfully completes their levels and eliminates the game bugs inside. Wario eventually meets up with Mona, 9-Volt, Dr. Consequently, Wario resolves to find his missing employees, defeat the game bugs, and return home.
Together, they complete the stage and defeat the game bug. He later reunites with his employees Young Cricket and 18-Volt, who have also gained abilities of their own. Horrified, Wario gives chase and jumps into his level, where he uses his new abilities to complete the microgames he created. Afterwards, he encounters a game bug corrupting his game level. Inside the game, Wario discovers that, as a result of being inside the game's world, he now has special abilities. Suddenly, a mouth appears on the game's screen and begins to pull Wario and his friends into the system, turning them into miniature versions of themselves and trapping them inside. Unfortunately, when Wario tries to play the game, it malfunctions and, angered, Wario throws it into the air. Following the events of WarioWare Gold, a new entry in the Pyoro series, Super Pyoro, is released, with crowds of people in Diamond City eager to buy it meanwhile, at WarioWare, Inc., Wario and his friends have completed a new game of their own.
